A newly-married wife sees her husband's photographs with other girls and leaves him. Taking this single line as a subject, director Nandakishore has woven a comedy story combining sentiment and action with some catchy dialogues by Prashanth. While the first half is smooth and lively as the story moves without a hiccup, the second half has too many turns and twists with too many characters creating confusion and chaos. Nandakishore should have taken care of this point and edit the movie by at least 20 minutes.

The story is simple. Chandru (Sharan) marries Priya (Asmitha Sood). As they check the presentations, Priya finds a cover with photos of Chandru with other girls. Upset over them, she deserts him and the turn of events make Chandru attempt suicide. But his efforts fail in one way or the other. The other side of the story has Mafia (Ravishankar) planning to kill Chandru for insurance money of Rs 2 crore and also Veerabhadra (Keerthiraj), a rowdy, deciding to wipe out the family of police commissioner Rajendra (Avinash). Chandru happens to be his son-in-law. All these drama takes place in the second half which is confusing as the sequences come fast and fade away. But there is comedy in every sequence which you can never ignore.

Sharan has again proved that he is a hero material with his brilliant performance. Asmitha Sood has done a good job. Ravishankar is as excellent in comedy roles as in villain's roles. Ragini's dance sequence and Arjun Janya's music are the highlights. Shekhar Chandra as captured some eye-catching scenes in his camera.

After acting in 99 movies, Sharan made his debut as a hero in his 100th movie Rambo. He himself had produced it and his first attempt became a huge success. Audience and critics gave thumbs up to the last year flick. The success of Rambo made many producers approach him. The actor turned choosy and opted for the newbie's movie Victory. From the day one, the film has been making positive noise in the cine circle. Victory garnered good attention of the audience with 'Khali quarter...' track. The song was heard by some of the big names of Kannada films and gave thumbs up to the track.

 Sudeep, Darshan, Victory Rajkumar, directors Prem, Dinakar Togudeep, Prem Kumar, Ganesh, V Harikrishna and Gurukiran had praised the song. This gave a big boost to the flick. It helped Victory to create good words in the industry. As a result, there were huge demands for satellite rights and remake rights. While a popular channel bought the TV rights for above Rs 2 crore, Telugu actor Allari Naresh expressed his interest to remake it in Tollywood. Can Sharan deliver a hit again? This movie stands different as it is clean and it could be enjoyable by all section of audience.
