The Sri Chowdeshwari
Devi Mahime story revolves around Rathna (Bhavyashri Rai), married to
Ramachandra (Ramanna), a priest in Choudeshwari temple. He always believed that
the goddess helped them in difficult times. As expected, Rathna faces several
problems as she is childless. Her sister-in-law (Rekha Das), who has a baby,
humiliates her every moment for not bearing a child. Village leader
Chandregowda wants to win her heart and makes a lot of attempts with the help
of a tantric. At one stage, Rathna falls to black magic of the tantric and
unknowingly walks to the trap laid by Chandregowda. When he tries to rape her,
we have our hero Krishna (Girish Kumar) along with heroine Padmini (Navya),
sister of Chandregowda, coming to her rescue. Humiliated and hurt, Rathna seeks
the help of Choudeshwari (Roja). How does the goddess help her?
A priest Ramanna with the spirit of Chowdeswhari goddess in
him quite often at his Sri Chowdeshwari temple in CV Raman Nagar in Bangalore
has come forward to produce and direct the film 'Sri Chowdeshwari Devi Mahime'
with topnotch of yesteryears Roja playing the role of 'Devi'. The film has
completed shooting and the graphic work is balance in the post production work.
Ramanna a multi talented personality has written the story, screenplay, and
dialogue and directed the film and sung a few songs for the Sri Chowdeshwari
Devi Mahime.
