Prem Adda Movie is an Indian Kannada language action film. Prem, Meka Murali Krishna and kriti Kharbanda are in the lead roles of the film. The film is directed by Mahesh man and therefore the film music is scored by V. Harikrishna. The film is that the remake of Tamil film Subramaniapuram. Prem is acting below another director for the first time during this movie.

Prem Adda Movie has six songs composed by V. Harikrishna. One song took from original movie. All the songs are super hit within the market. The film was originally supposed to be discharged on 30 Nov 2012. Later, the film discharged on seven Dec 2012 to typically positive reviews. Prem's acting within the movie was praised. It’s been called a violent movie by reviewers. The film received an 'A' certificate from the Film Censor Board. It grossed VI crores.

Director-turned-actor Prem, who created his acting debut in Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melede, has not tasted success as an actor in spite of creating many tries. With his directorial career at a coffee ebb, the Jogi creator has been attempting his best to reclaim sort of a phoenix raising from the ashes. Well, Prem Adda looks to own given him much-awaited success because the film may be a treat to the mass.

Prem Adda Movie is bloody story of violence. Set within the 80s, the narration takes you to the past and in between the current. Ranganath alias Ranga (Prem) with his friends are small-time careless goons, who is incredibly sincere, sort of a dog's unmatchable sincerity to a human - to a village politician. Whenever they get into bother and lands in station, he bails them out. As his political career wasn't going anyplace, his desperation for power makes him to use his admirer Ranga and his gang for his political gain. As a result, the Adda boys commit a murder and land in jail. However the politician changes his color and doesn't return to their rescue now, leading the Ranga's men to hunt revenge against him for exploiting their innocence. Last however not least, Prem is crazy with the daughter of the politician vie by Crete Kharbanda. It’s a usual revenge-seeking drama told during a good manner. The film is intense and has a sturdy subject with a robust message.

Not to forget, Prem Adda may be a remake of Tamil superhot film Subramaniapuram and the makers of the film have tweaked the script to suit the native sensibilities. However, the narration loses its grip in elements and therefore the sentiment scenes are forcefully added. May be, it's too dramatic and the continuity goes for a toss. As so much as roles are involved, it's a customized role for Prem and he appearance apt in nearly each frame. He speaks the Mandya-Kollegal idiom with ease and utterly justifies his role. Murali Krishna is nice in elements and Crete Kharbanda, whose role is proscribed, wills a good job. V Harikrishna's music is superb and 3 songs of the film are good, Arun D Prasad's filming is nice and Mavalli Sai Krishna's dialogues are literary.

Action sequences are well-shot. Director Mahesh man has a wondrous team and has brought out the best. However, the screenplay isn't convincing in some elements and the film would have gotten a few more marks if the director would have taken care of it. And also, there's no justification for the title - Prem Adda!
