The Parijatha Movie may be a remake of Tamil successful film Boss Engira Bhaskaran leading Arya and Nayantara. The film was a musical hit with the soundtrack and score composed by Mano Murthy. The film also received appreciation for its neat book.

Parijatha opened to a decent positive response from each lots and critics. Kannadagogle reviewed the film giving three stars out of five and same, "The comedy sequences, borrowed from other Tamil films, strengthen the fun moment within the movie. The forged is thus good that even an artist doing a small role impresses. 'Parijatha' is a pleasurable comedy film, due to chemistry of the lead try Diggy and Andy". Rediff.com reviewed with three.5 stars as "This may be a film for people who are in love. go for it and enjoy". The songs for the film were composed by Mano Murthy. The song "Oh Parijatha" graded fourth among the South India’s high 20 songs list in Nokia Ovi Store and also another song "Nee Mohisu" has occupied the twelfth position in South high 20 songs list in Nokia Ovi Store.

"Parijatha" leading Diganth and Aindrita, who share a great bond in real world too, may be a good gift for the Valentine’s Day. The lead try has shown however smart chemistry works magic on screen. tho' the film is a remake of 2009 Tamil hit "Boss Engira Bhaskaran", the Kannada version is small a lot of engaging, due to aesthetically shot melodious songs and excellent comedy timing of Diganth and Sharan.

The film's director Prabhu Sreenivas, a longtime creator down south, has tried to gift leading stars as a beautiful romantic try on screen. The styling work and choice of background visuals and locations are finished utmost care.

The director has been ready to give full quota of entertainment to the audience despite the script going haywire during a number of scenes. Bhaskar, usually known as Boss, may be a smart for nothing fellow that whiles away his time with his friend Sundar, a barber. Meanwhile, he gets interested in Chandrika, a double graduate operating as a lecturer. He wants to marry her.

Meanwhile, his elder brother, a veterinary doctor, gets married to the elder sister of Chandrika who advises Boss to become serious in life and amend his ways in which. Finally, Boss starts a tutorial and it wills thus well that he's ready to finance his younger sister's marriage. However still Chandrika's father refuses to accept Bhaskar as his future in-law. However the complete confusion gets cleared within the climax. Diganth scores brownie points along with his innocent looks, dialogue delivery and neat performance. He shows selection in his performance.
