(Kannada: ಕಡ್ಡಿಪುಡಿ) is a
2013 Indian Kannada modern noir crime film directed by Duniya Soori and created
by M. Chandru. It stars Shivrajkumar and Radhika Pandit within the lead. The
music of the film was composed by V. Harikrishna with lyrics written by Yogaraj
Bhat and Jayant Kaikini.
The movie is largely a story of a rowdy who desires to urge
reformed, however fails in his attempts. Although the topic is strong, director
Suri has created it look tame with lack-lusture narration, especially within
the half, and sequences that are boring and weak.
There's no put down any of the sequences, as well as the
dialogues. Within the second half, the story goes haywire, sort of a kite while
not a string. There is romance, a chase, murder, fight and sentiment; however
the story lacks that one thing that pushes it forward. That does not return
through either within the narration or dialogues. The complete burden of
carrying the story forward falls on Shivrajkumar, whose given life to his
character as a rowdy and a family man, and this can be the only reason you will
need to observe the film.
The story revolves around Ananda alias Kaddipudi
(Shivrajkumar) a rowdy sheeter who yearns for a peaceful life. However
politicians like Renukaji (Renuka Prasanna), his son Gaali (Rajesh) and
Shankarappa (Sharath Lohithashwa) use him as a pawn for their egotistical ends
and do not permit him to steer a standard life. Circumstances additionally
force him to marry Uma (Radhika Pandit), a junior performing artist from a poor
family. He will an honest turn and saves flower (Aindrita Ray), a brothel
dancer.
Radhika Pandit has done her best to stay her role alive.
Aindrita Ray shines in her short, however difficult role of a prostitute.
Whereas 'Mungaru Male' Krishna has done an honest job along with his camera, V
Harikrishna's music is above average. The song 'Hedarabyadre....' sung by
Sachina Heggar is superb with a folk tune.
