Gokula Krishna (Kannada: ಗೋಕುಲ ಕೃಷ್ಣ) is a 2012 Kannada romantic comedy film directed by B. M. Jayakannan and made jointly by P. Shekar Gowda and Narayan Swamy. It stars Prajwal Devraj and Ananya within the lead roles. Ananya makes her Kannada debut with this film. Bhavya, Jai Jagadish, Srinath, Doddanna and saddhu Kokila among others play the supporting roles. S. A. Rajkumar is that the score and soundtrack musician. The film created its theatrical unharnessed on nineteen Oct 2012.

It's a complete family sentimental story wherever a boy brings in a very spirited atmosphere in a very family. He also changes its attitude towards widow wedding and eventually wins the center of a widow from the same family and marries her. Director Jayakannan has elected an honest story set in a very family background and promotes the thought of widow wedding with an honest script. But only the director will answer however way this subject is relevant even these days.

The hero comes in 2 roles as Gokula and Krishna (Prajwal Devaraj). Gokula falls taken with with Aishwarya (Ananya), his colleague in a very personal company, who appearance glum and hates men. Gokul faces embarrassing moments before being able to win her heart. The story takes a flip once Aishwarya leaves the work and goes to her town to remain with his brothers and grandparents. The hero arrives here as Krishna, joins the family as an honest samaritan and wins the center of family members, as well as the rigid grandfather (Doddanna) who opposed widow wedding. Because the story progresses, we come back to grasp that Aishwarya too could be a widow. She had lost her husband in an accident. However will Krishna modification the attitude of the family members towards widow wedding and marry Aishwarya?

Full marks to Prajwal for his performance, particularly as Krishna. Ananya is just too serious throughout the picture. Srinath, Doddanna, Jaijagadish and saddhu Kokila have done justice to their roles. Music by sa Rajkumar has some catchy numbers. Cinematography by Vinod Bharathi is admirable.
