Lucky Shankar's "Devarane Movie" is a sarcastic commentary on however innocent folks are exploited by fake god man and politician nexus. It’s its moments of entertainment in the main within the first half, however later the narration takes a serious flip even creating the audience to think over these developments.

The Devarane Movie is absolutely loaded with dialogues and lacks visual strength. The dialogues are extended, instructive and typically boring. Shankar, who wrote some crisp dialogues in his previous film "90", has taken a unique path this point only to create a negative impact. Though he claims that he has written an imagined story for this someone, comparisons are bound to be created with some controversial god men, who were in news for all wrong reasons.

Shankar ridicules the predilection of the channels to usher in astrologers, supposed god men, to studios and in method reinforce their irrational beliefs. The story revolves around Chitteswamy who loses all hopes of survival once all his attempts to earn cash and lead an honest life fail. He decides to finish his life. However he's saved by a crooked, however intelligent person named K.K., who publicly announces that Chitteswamy could be a god man with mythical powers.

Chitteswamy becomes very hip. K.K. builds up an ashram, wherever Chitteswamy starts meeting his devotees. Meanwhile, he falls for the charms of Sheela. An official desires to exploit matters to his advantage and induces K.K. to interrupt with Chitteswamy. A piquant scenario is made once Chitteswamy needs to bury himself alive. Ravishankar comes and rescues Chitteswamy and exposes the politician-god man nexus.

He has done an excellent job in his role of the controversial god man. His dialogue delivery, body language and expressions utterly suit to provide some believable to the character. The film's heroine Neethu contains a transient role. saddhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Tabala Nani and Raju Thalikote, who usher in a few laughs within the theatre, build a mark with their spirited performance.

The retro song "My name is Chitteswamy" had become already well-liked before the film's unleash, whereas the opposite songs are commonly composed. The trick is good. Sitar player may have created an honest film if he had found out a good script eliminating all the extended, preachy sequences.
