Charminar Movie is a 2013 Kannada romantic drama film written and directed and made by R. Chandru. featuring Prem Kumar and Meghana Gaonkar within the lead roles. The film deals with the featuring a person as compared with the celebrated monument Charminar in Hyderabad that shows four vital pillars including family, friends and lover. Charminar is made by R. Chandru films and also the soundtrack composed by a newcomer Hari, former guitarist based goes into Hyderabad.

At the start stage, actor’s ganesh, Ajay Rao and Srinagar Kitty were thought of to play the lead within the film. Ajay and Kitty have worked in Chandru's previous films, however each backed out citing previous commitments. CNN-IBN gave the film a rating of 3 and a half out of 5 and aforesaid, "The beauty of 'Charminar' lies within the method the director has introduced contemporary parts into the narration and fantastic dialogues." and all over therefore, "Charminar includes an immense emotional appeal and can attract the family audience and kids." Srikanth Srinivasa of Rediff too gave the film a rating of 3.5/5 and wrote "R Chandru, who created mausoleum, has exceeded expectations and stunned audiences with Charminar that strikes an emotional chord with the audience." Y. Maheswara Reddy of DNA gave the film a rating of 3 stars out of 5 and wrote "The film focuses on the role of lecturers in molding students as higher voters, and also the director deserves a pat on his back for conveying the message sensitively.
